About 2 years ago, I volunteered to help out the Children’s Ministry at my church. Although it is a responsibilty for me to fufill requirements to be part of Children’s Ministry, it has become a positive thing in my life. Just recently, a new requirement was to blog our Sunday devotion, and blog a devotion that we do we do with our parents.
Because I was required to blog out the devotions I did, I looked through some of my friends’ blogs. I realized that many this year aren’t feeling the Christmas Spirit. The amount of those people surprised me, and so I started blogging about it. In my blog post, I talked about how people aren’t feeling Christmasy at all is because they don’t know the true meaning of Christmas, which is Jesus.
Soon enough, one of my friends from school who wasn’t a believer read my post. What I didn’t expect was for her to write a blog entry thanking me. In her post, she wrote that I made an impact on her life, how her views on things have changed because of my posts, and how she now knows the true meaning of Christmas. Praise God!
