Bless My Life

Today, a friend of mine confessed that he cut himself and was considering suicide. With the help of a few support groups, I was able to talk to him about it, and he promised me that this was not the end of his story. I’m grateful to God for giving me the right things to say, and for my friend for having the courage to talk about it. Bless HIS life. Posted by: Millie

Earlier today I realized that I am greatful for comfort in my life. It doesn’t mean that my life is comfortable, it doesn’t always come with joy and it doesn’t always mean things are easy, but I am so greatful that I can find comfort in different, little things, i.e. a bed, a piece of chocolate, a song, a view, a hard workout, a friend, etc. I am grateful that I was able to notice the few moments today where my back did not hurt at all, I was just able to sit there and be grateful for those fleeting moments of comfort that I haven’t known in years. After a crazy week of being in the hospital with my 4 month old daughter who has hypoplastic right heart, among other heart issues, we had a great day! The fluid is coming off of her and she is looking more like the baby I know. She is in no pain, and smiled and coo’d at me. What more could I ask for in this moment! Posted by: Allie’s love
