Miracle
Saturday, December 12th, 2009Financial Miracles
Friday, August 21st, 2009My husband is a local business owner, he expanded his business nearly three years ago. Up until about 6 months ago the business was hanging by a thread. With the business not successful, that meant our personal financial needs were not being met. We did all we could to stay afloat in the past few years, but our bills were more than we could afford. May 2008 was the last house payment we could afford to make. We struggled for the rest of last year. Finally my husband was able to re-negotiate things for his business and things started to look up. There still wasn’t enough funds from the business to support our obligations. We began negotiating with the mortgage holder right away for a better payment that we could afford. The mortgage company wouldn’t work with us at all for many months. We finally were able to come to a temporary solution with the mortgage holder to keep our house from hitting the auction block. I thought for sure there was no way the mortgage company would be willing to make the changes to our loan so we could afford it. After about 3 months of calling every week we finally got a notification in the mail. The bank was willing to work with us! Their initial offer was to cut our payment in HALF for the first 5 years and then it tops out at a very reasonable payment. I can’t believe the bank was willing to work with us and make things affordable for us. The business started profiting about 6 months ago, so we will now be able to make modified house payments! I feel so blessed that the business worked out and is breaking financial records each month and that the bank decided to work with us. I know this was all the work of the Lord and I am so grateful for his blessings. Words cannot describe the amount of relief I feel. As well as being the recipient of tender mercies. True Treasures
Saturday, August 15th, 2009Due to a downfall in the economy, my husband shut our business down 18 months ago. With only a 9 month emergency fund and no job to be found, we moved forward with faith. We lost our home and because of that, had to file bankruptcy. Through the whole process, I stood back and took a look around…around at the many blessings I am surrounded by. We were blessed with our fourth baby~4 healthy, happy children is by far one of the greatest, miraculous and most amazing blessings a person can recieve. A husband, whose faith and positivity pulled our family through the most difficult challenge we have had to face. And most importantly, faith in a higher power. Knowing that this moment in life, like everything else, will pass. Through it all I have learned that the true treasures aren’t the houses we live or the cars we may drive. They won’t make us better, or happier at the end of the day. Rather, the people we surround ourselves with and a family that can withstand the storms and trials of life are the most priceless treasures we have! Posted by: Grateful Mom
Financial Blessings
Friday, July 31st, 2009Today an investment that I thought was hopelessly lost because of the recession has now come back to it’s original value plus a little extra. I feel it is an answer to many prayers. I’m grateful.
