Recently, I have been realizing how amazing my next door neighbors are. They are great friends to me and they always help me without hesitation. We have a good, trusting relationship and both feel comfortable asking the other for favors. It feels so good to be supported and to have friends to laugh with! I love my life and I am so grateful! Awesome Neighbors
Monday, February 8th, 2010Peace and Quiet
Monday, December 14th, 2009I am grateful for the quiet that has fallen over my apartment for the last two days. My roommates have all left for the weekend which means I have been able to catch up on sleep, play with my sister, and study for my finals that are looming in the near future. I am grateful for my education and the knowledge I have gained through this year. What a huge blessing it is! Bless My Life. Posted by: MaN
Great Friends
Thursday, November 19th, 2009Today, as my roommate and I were studying up for a math test, a couple of friends came over and did our dishes! They just walked in, asked how we were doing, and then decided to help us out by cleaning our kitchen. They later came back with a note of encouragement. What wonderful girls! I greatly appreciate the time they took to come over and help my roommate and me out. Life is amazing! BML - Posted by: Cait
YES! YES! …. YES!
Monday, November 2nd, 2009I am SO grateful. Recently In the hustle and bustle of college life, I accidentally forgot my music folder. I play the cello in our university’s orchestra and we are doing a special concert, and for this particular concert, we are borrowing the music from the composer himself so it’s not like we can quickly order a new set online.
I didn’t realize I was missing the music until Saturday and campus was closed up so I couldn’t go looking for it. I was so worried, I would even say that I was stressed about it. I didn’t know what to do and so I took the opportunity and fasted. Maybe it seems like a silly thing to fast for a music folder, but I needed to.
I spent so much time just praying that I could find it. I called everywhere I had ever been since I lost my music and there was no luck. I was so worried. I called the school’s lost and found and the woman told me they didn’t have it. She said she’d call me back if there was any luck. I started to give up and was writing an email to my professor apologizing for my mistake and asking how much it was going to cost to replace the music when I got a phone call. It was Lost and Found. They had it!!!
I am so grateful for such a seemingly small miracle. What a HUGE blessing it is to me.
Thank you Universe. Thank you God. Bless my life! Posted by MaN

Back-to-School
Sunday, August 23rd, 2009As I finished the summer semester, I was not looking forward to starting classes again two weeks later. Today however, after a nice break, I do feel excited about my upcoming courses and what I can learn from them. I am grateful for my love of education and learning and for the abundance of opportunities provided by where I live, my husband’s hard work, and the example and support of so many loved ones. BML! I Really Can Do Math
Thursday, July 30th, 2009Today I found out that I got a 93% on my Math 1010 test. For a 51 year old woman who struggled with 5th grade math a few months ago, it’s miraculous. I’m so grateful for my daughter, Alexis, who has patiently tutored me, and for my husband, Stephen, and my friend, Frank, who have helped me to believe I really can do math. Mostly I’m grateful that God just keeps giving me so many ways to learn and grow. Bless My Life.
